At the Treasury (Cashier's) Window, located on the entry level of City Hall, 40 Severance Circle, residents may pay for and/or purchase:
- Parking tickets issued by the Police Department
- Water and sewer bills
- City income tax payments
- Bicycle licenses
- Dog licenses
- Vicious Dog registration
- Plastic trash bags
- Paper Kraft lawn bags
- Blue recycling bags
CITY OF CLEVELAND HEIGHTS CHECK RETURN POLICY
If a check is returned unpaid, your signature gives the City of Cleveland Heights permission to debit your account electronically for the original check amount plus a service fee of $25. Payment by your check constitutes acceptance of these terms. Please make sure sufficient funds are available in your checking account to avoid any complications regarding this policy.
Bicycle Licenses
The City requires license and registration for all bicycles operated within the city. Cyclists can buy their permits at the Treasury Window. They must supply the color, make, tire size and serial number of the bike. The registration fee ($2.00) may be waived by the City if, at the time of registration, the applicant offers satisfactory proof of ownership of a bicycle helmet and signs a pledge agreeing to wear the helmet at all times when riding the registered bicycle.
Municipal Parking Permits
Parking permits for municipal lots are sold on a quarterly basis (i.e. March, June, September, December). The permits are sold in the City Hall atrium at the cashier's (Treasury) window. City Hall is located at 40 Severance Circle. The cost for a quarterly parking permit is $90.00. Seniors (65 years or older) pay $30.00 per quarter. Due to the limited availability of most parking spaces, a waiting list has been established for the lots that are sold out. People will be contacted as spaces become available. Permits for parking lots not currently sold out may be purchased during normal Treasury hours. for questions regarding permit availability or to have your name added to the waiting list, contact the Treasury Department at 216-291-3971. Please be sure to include your name, phone number and the lot number or numbers you need.
If all parking lots in your area are sold out, you may utilize 24-hour parking meters or park on the street where overnight parking is permitted. For questions regarding on-street parking or any other inquiries, call 216-291-5770.
Vicious Dog Licenses
Vicious dogs must be registered by their owners at City Hall (Treasury Window). There is a $15.00 registration fee. For more information concerning the Vicious Dog ordinance, see Animal Protective Unit.
