JOB: CLEVELAND HEIGHTS MUNICIPAL COURT DEPUTY CLERK
The Cleveland Heights Municipal Court is seeking to fill the position of Deputy Clerk in the Municipal Court on a full-time basis. Primary responsibilities will include the processing of citations, complaints, constructing files, developing court dockets, processing receipts, disbursing payments, balancing accounting records and maintaining court records. This position would provide information regarding court's policies and procedures to those using the court system.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school diploma with additional, formal education beyond high school desirable.

Skills:
Knowledge of basic English, spelling, punctuation, grammar, mathematics, office practices, and use of standard office equipment. Thorough knowledge of the functions and procedures of the court. Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute and ability to operate a ten-key calculator; ability and knowledge of computer operating systems with experience in operating personal computers and various software; ability to learn assigned tasks readily within a reasonable training period and adhere to prescribed routines.

Other:
Excellent public relations skills.
Ability to work with customers in an often unpleasant situation for the customer.
Regular attendance is imperative.

Salary Range: $24,000
